12th Annual Flavors of Atlanta – Circus of Flavor

MyDailyThread has joined the circus! Flavors of Atlanta Circus of Flavor that is! Flavors of Atlanta is an annual fundraiser benefiting the American Liver Foundation, which has provided awareness, education and research to combat liver disease across the United States since 1976.

Now in its 12th year, Flavors of Atlanta is a true epicurean delight, bringing together some of Atlanta’s top chefs for a culinary extravaganza at the Foundry at Puritan Mill. 2010 participating restaurants include: 4th and Swift, Aria, Atlanta Fish Market, BLT Steak, Bocado, Bold American, Bistro Niko, Canoe, Dogwood, Haven, Joel, Kyma, Livingston, One Midtown Kitchen, Paces 88, Park 75, Pricci, Rathbun’s, Repast, Rosebud, Serpas, Shaun’s, SOHO, Spice Market, U Restaurants (Sotto Sotto, Fritti, Lupe and Beleza), Wisteria and Woodfire Grill.

This year’s Flavors of Atlanta theme is Circus of Flavor, so watch out for chefs dressed as fire breathers, knife throwers, lion tamers and Siamese twins! The event will feature a cocktail reception and a silent and live auction, but the true highlight of the exclusive gala is the table side preparation of a four-course dinner of each chef’s own creation.

MDT Hint: Each chef is assigned to a 10-seat table, but guests won’t know at which table they’ll be dining until they arrive at the Foundry. If you like a surprise as much as we do, Flavors of Atlanta is the perfect event for you!

MyDailyThread recently signed on as the Flavors of Atlanta online media and marketing partner. So, now through the date of the event, April 21, we’ll be featuring participating restaurant chef featurettes, profiles and restaurant DailyDeals throughout our site. We’ll also be providing an area on all DailyDeals in April where you can donate to the American Liver Foundation – even if you can’t attend the Flavors of Atlanta event.

All proceeds from Flavors of Atlanta go to benefit the American Liver Foundation. You can purchase tickets, and find more information, through the Foundation web site. Seating is very limited, so order soon!
