Quirky, eclectic and a damn good time, the Inman Park Festival has been attracting fun-loving crowds since its inception. Now in its 39th year, festival-goers have definitely come to expect the Inman Park neighborhood spirit to be on overdrive during this two-day festival held during the last weekend in April each year.
This year, the event takes place Saturday and Sunday, April 24 and 25, and includes an enormous vendor street market filled with antique furniture and handcrafted wares, a juried art show featuring the area’s finest artists, a fun-filled neighborhood parade and the annual Tour of Homes. MDT Hint: Inman Park area homes are both of historic relevance and so beautiful they’re not to be missed! The neighborhood is filled with well-preserved turn-of-the-century Victorian Painted Ladies and Craftsman bungalows, as well as more contemporary designs and loft conversions.
If art, crafts and architectural wonderment aren’t your cup of tea, the Inman Park Festival also features a wide variety of food and beverage vendors, children’s activities and a non-stop music lineup filled with rock, jazz, rockabilly, New Orleans funk, hip-hop and more. As if that’s not enough, you can also meet the MDT family on-site at the Inman Park Festival.
Be sure to check out the Inman Park Festival web site to purchase tickets for the Tour of Homes and for more information.
