What started in 2000 as a group of friends kicking off summer with some great live music and brews has since grown into a full-fledged summer fest with proceeds going to an annually selected charity. Back for it’s 10th anniversary, this year’s Draft on Taft promises to be the biggest and best yet!
This Saturday, May 22 from 3-10 p.m., join the MDT family as we party for an amazing cause at the corner of Charles Allen and 10th Street across from Piedmont Park. The guys at Draft on Taft promise all the food, live music and beer you can handle, so grab a bit of social lubricant and some chow and kick back to listen to Drivin N Cryin, the Fransico Vidal Band and unZipt.
Over the years, Draft on Taft has donated roughly $120,000 to various charities, and this year 100 percent of the profits go to local nonprofit Bert’s Big Adventure.
Tickets are on sale today for only $30 through Xorbia. MDT Hint: Get them now, Threaders, because prices go up to $32 at midnight tonight (still a great deal if you ask us). This event is 21+.
